Most groups find their programs are enhanced by adding one or more of the following options:

Study Material:Students are provided with workbooks along with passwords to access an online program for the Modern Standard Arabic and Colloquial Arabic courses.
Airport Pickup and Departure: Students will be met before passport control by a representative who will help them with arrival procedures, help them with luggage claim and customs, and transport them by airconditioned coach to their place of accommodation.
Cultural Program: The cultural program typically comprises two outings per week: one half-day trip during the week and one full day trip on Saturday. Students take Fridays off. Occasional weekend trips outside of Cairo are organized. The objective of the program is to enable students to speak Arabic in authentic situations and expose them to Egyptian culture with the guidance of their teachers. Visits can be to cultural sites, businesses or other institutions.
Extracurricular Dancing, Oud or Calligraphy: Weekly sessions are organized for students who are interested in experiencing the folkloric art of the Middle East. Folkloric dancing for women and men (fencing); oud or calligraphy lessons are offered upon request.
Lectures: Arab Academy organizes weekly lectures delivered by distinguished professors and professionals from diverse areas: political science, religion, sociology, history, etc. These lectures are accompanied by a light meal and can be delivered in English or Arabic.
Accommodation: Arab Academy is located in a safe upscale neighborhood in central Cairo that offers a variety of housing options, including furnished apartments as well as bed and breakfast and half-board hotels.
Lunch: We can provide an optional catered lunch plan featuring local specialties.
Mobile Phone and Internet: We recognize that students today are constantly connected to one another and the rest of the world and can provide local phones and mobile internet service, in addition to the free wifi services available on Arab Academy premises.
Gym Membership: Many of our students like to stay fit while in Cairo and find that membership at an air-conditioned gym is the best way to do that.
Farewell Party: These parties typically take place at 5-star hotels or social clubs and often include presentations/performances by the students in Arabic.
